Whats the best way to drain out the old fluid?

when i fill it back up do i fill the rad all the way to the top and then fill the over flow bottle to the f mark?

The best way is with their prep fluid, but its another $27.99 :(

You can also run your quad till the fan comes on, allow it to cool, and drain out all your old coolant. Next fill up your quad with the Evan's and allow the fan to come on again. Repeat the process again of draining the coolant. After this you should still have enough to refill your radiator and your overflow bottle and be good to go. ;)

How are you draining the fluid? do the rads have a valve on them like a car at the bottom of the rad?

I was gonna drain it where all the people were showing pics of the clogs because i planned on cleaning that out anyway?

I was just reading threw the lil manual that came with the evans Evans NPG-R i bought and now i have even more questions.

It says that this can cause problems in systems with thermostats the kfx400 has to have a thermostat to click the fan on right?

It also said tis not recommended for cold weather operation?

I hope i didnt spend 35 bucks shipped for nothing alot of the riding i do is in cold weather.

I also read not below 15 degrees, so now I am concerned about cold storage. I am not worried too much about riding below that temp.

The thermostat your referrring to is a temp switch, the thermostat they are referring to is in the engine. Not sure how it affects it but I'm using engine ice in mine and have had no problems. As far as cold storage, drain it out in the winter.

For draining it, pull the little silver screw on the pump, this will drain the fluid out oof the lower portion of the engine.
