how do i fix this with out getting a new case? i was thinking to put jb weld on it and smooth it out.

Can't really see whats the problem, but if its a cracked case you can just fix that with some JB weld. I used it for my cracked case and it works just fine.

Looking at the picture again it looks like you have a nice size hole in your case. Try JB weld or get as a pro welder and weld that hole up if thats what it is.

Look to the left of the front sprocket bolt into that blackish looking rectangle. It looks like a hole. Lol.

i used jb weld,i had a hole almost the same size on my 350x motor,i put a strip of cardboard on the inside and then i jb welded the outside,once the jb weld hardens take the cardboard out,i did this to keep it from oozing out while it was setting up.you'll have to take the stator cover off though.
