How much fabrication would it take to put a 400EX swingarm on a 250R?

I saw an R with the 400ex's swingarm on it at a TT national in Paducah Ky. The guy that had it on there said it bolted right up. He WAS using an adjustable strut though. He had the 86-87 pivit bolt rear motor mount in the swingarm bolt. I'm not sure if he modified them but he DID! say "It just bolted right up".
