8 plate kit using OEM parts with HD springs. Contact GT Thunder. Stock is 7 plates the 8 plate kit is where it's at if you want to do it right.

Screw barnett, tusk, etc, etc. OEM clutches are the best hands down.

Yeah the OEM is the best stuff. Tusk stuff do you seriously want to put that cheap junk inside your motor??? If you can go the 8 plate setup. Get GT thunder you get a machined pressure plate to make more room. The Curtis Sparks one you loose adjustment.

That's what buddies are for. I see their tusk and barnet kits lasting a few months.

I'm 2 years strong on my 8 plate OEM kit, and I don't ride like no sheee la.

I run a Hinson basket.

Average cost of a 8 plate kit is about $150, but well worth it.

the 8 plate sparks setup i had came with thinner than stock plates. i thought to make all 8 to fit the fibers would need to be thinner. i am not sure if the gt thunder setup uses thinner plates or not though....

250R and 300ex plates, which are thinner thats how you run 8 instead of 7, and the setup rocks...:macho

so you can get 300ex plates and fibers and you can fit an extra set in the stock 400ex set up? is that what your saying because if you are i have a junk 300ex with a good clutch and a good 400ex with a **** clutch and no money.
