Just got a 300ex and love it does anyone else own one and have any sugestions as far as performance parts go?

First of all welcome to the site. The best way to get the info you are looking for is to try the search button at the top of the page. There are too many good upgrades available to list them all but a good start would be a full exhaust/jetting and maybe modifying the airbox lid and last but not least upgrade the suspension( shocks/a arms/axle ).

Forgot to add that the upgrades all depend on your budget and what you do with the quad. You can spend very little or a LOT. There's a huge aftermarket for the 300 so the possiblities are almost endless.

I will be using the quad for trail and racing it already has a 400ex front end and after market sproket. I do not know what has been done to the engine, It has a new clutch.

My first suggestion would be to do a search for 300ex with 400ex front end and research it a bit. There are some who swear it is a great setup and others who don't. Personally I didn't like the setup at all when compared to an aftermarket front end built for the 300. Otherwise I'd say a good full exhaust like sparks/HMF or WB would be the best place to start along with proper jetting. If you ride muddy trails you may want to leave your stock airbox lid in tact. Or you can pick up something like an outerwares lid to keep the dirt out and let more air in. Also look into some good shocks like works or elka if you can afford them. Good suspension will make more difference on the 300 than most engine upgrades. If you look down through the posts in the sport quads under 350cc section you will probably find answers to most of what you want to know. Hope this helps.
