well I just wanted yer guys input. I love the quad but it can always be faster. the hrc kit for the o6 will it make me lose some bottom end power? cause I dont want any of that to go away. I m sure it makes the top end sick! but how much does it affect it down low?

It seems like it has more bottom end to me. You can ride a gear higher than normal and not stall it.

wow thats sweet I woulda figured it would have less with a cam and exhaust I thought that doing such a kit would increase mid and top end . thats sweet! so what have you raced with it ?(drag race)

the hrc kit will increase it through the entire powerband

One of the guys I ride with has an '06 with Curtis Sparks exhaust and he can take me in a drag race, but if we swap bikes he walks off and leaves me. So the HRC is a lot faster than just an exhaust anyway.

The HRC kit is a good value, but if you want even more power get a full exhaust and a aftermaket cam. I went that direction on mine and I've got about 3 to 5 more horse than just the HRC alone. I've got my ride review on My Kick Is In thread.

from these forums that i have been reading they saty thet the full system is better that just th slip on even with the hrc header...but about the comment Jonas made that is very true you can get more horsepower for your money but if you are interested in atleast keeping your 6 month warranty you gotta go with the HRC.(not trying to start a warranty debate)

HRC kit installed before delivery - bike has 6 mo warranty

HRC kit installed after delivery - max 3 mo warranty from date of installation or remainder of original 6 mo warr. which ever is less -

as stated in the HRC booklet that comes with the kit.

It's a good value. Great hp bump for the bucks - (aprox 350) and the bike runs much smoother after the install.

my 06 w/ hrc is great i came off a 250r and this think will eat it. raced a 416ex, a z400 and a 700 raptor this sat. the 700 hung to 2nd gear and by 3rd i was gone. the 416 was just ahead of the 700 and the z400 (w/ pipe and 12:1) was bringing up the rear
