I just bought +1 up 0 lsr arms for my 400ex i was wondering if i could run stock 450r brake lines with these arms... also i was wondering if i should get my elka recs re-valved for the a-arms or if its not enough to worry about. thanks

i don't know about the revalving...but you should be good with the 450r lines. i would suggest steelbraided lines tho, they are so much better esp if you need to buy the 450r ones anyway. if you just have them laying around then yeah, they will work fine.

Are you already running 450r brake lines on your 400ex? I know part of the 450r lines are hard line and kinda follow the frame down to where they split. Don't know if they will follow a 400ex frame. They might not fit as well. Steel braided are the way to go if you have some $ laying around. As for the valving they should be close but if they are too soft, you probably can get away with a spring swap. Elka springs aren't too expensive.
