Why did his car fall apart so easily when he hit the wall? Its Bristol... they are not going that fast.

Calling him lucky does not describe how LUCKY he really is! Especially being hit after his car fell apart and being exposed like that...

When did this happen? It had to have been several years ago because that's a Pontiac rolling down pit road at the beginning. If I remember correctly 2003 was the last year Pontiac was in.

By the way the car completely collapsed I wonder if someone used thinner walled chassis tubing for weight savings. Teams have been busted trying this before and maybe they thought because of the relatively slower speeds at Bristol it was an acceptable risk.

The reason the car just split apart is that he hit the Crossover gate opening it and then his car went stright into the end of the backstretch wall.....That was around 2003 i think, they also said that the motor sat 10 feet from the crash still running for 15 seconds afterwards:eek2:

that guy wrecks everything, he use to live prob 10 mins from me and i grew up with one of his nephews. i dont know if he still lives there or not.
