i like all of the boots posted, all of them are good pairs. they get the job done is how i look at it. its weird though i wear 12.5 tennis shoe, but these tech 6's are 11's and fit me perfect. i guess its just the way the boots are made.

Apparently you homos didn't completely understand the 2 sentences I wrote....

I do have boots. I clearly stated this. I just said I don't feel like spending $300 more just because they say Fox or Alpinestar on them.

I know this may be hard for some people here to understand, but not everyone has thousands of dollars in credit card debt, rich parents that spoil their kids, or an extremely well paying job where they can dump $1000 into a pair of boots and helmet so when they go riding the one day out of the month they will feel slightly safer.

Granted, a more expensive helmet and boots offer better protection but I am not willing to use my limited discretionary income on safety gear. If I were racing, I might be willing to do so. For light trail riding, it isn't going to happen.

We are just giving you a hard time. I know not eveyone can afford the best gear, i dont have it...But dont say you dont have good gear because your money is best spent on upgrades....thats just askin for trouble.

I have a-star tech 6's. by far teh best boot i have ever worn. very comfortable and great support.

Omaits-- I dont race, and by no means have a high paying job, rich parents or credi card debt. i earn everything i have at my $7 dollar an hour job. I wear a nice KBC helmet and teh A-star tech 6 boots. I would much rather spend $300 on some boots and $250 on a helmet on the off chance i will get injured. $600 bucks in riding gear is a heck of a lot cheaper and ankle surgery or something happening to my head. personally my head is worth more than a cheap helmet, but thats just me. Plus, you are paying for the name somewhat, but they are actually worth waht you pay for. My KBC helmet is the Most comfortable helmet i have ever put on my head.

I've got a set of Sidi boots orderes. I used to would not have spent the dough, but after having a few aftermarket parts installed in my leg and being told if I hadn't had boots I wouldn't be walking and if it happened again I wouldn't walk I decided good boots are my friend. But then again, I wouldn't have bought them if I wasn't racing.
