Anyone ever break a jet?

I was putting my new jet back in and it got kind of tite but not a completly,so i turned it more and it snapped. Half the jet was out and the other in side the hole!:mad: :mad: So had to take apart the cab. to get to the other side!:p ever happen?

Lol i did that on my banshee. It was horrbile, took forever to get them, then i break one of them. Soi put 2 differnt sizes in in a monment of anger and sold it.

an easy out would have been the way to go. Thats how i removed mine.

I broke the one that came with my HRC kit. I was able to back out the busted part in the carb with a dental pick, it wasn't tight at all. Still don't understand how that jet broke. Luckily I found a spare 185 from when my dad was trying to get his 350x jetted.
