06' 450R kickstart model temp. unavalible?!?!?

yesterday i was told that the guys at the local Honda shop said they havent had a kickstart model in there in some time, they called around and said that no one else around has one and something about Honda hasnt sent any out??? anyone know if this is true or what the hell is up??? please let me know!

They have been shipped out because a few people on here have them.

I just put a deposit down today on one in Oklahoma and they said that it was the last one they will get this year, but they didn't say anything about a problem with Honda.

i have been looking for an 06' kicker so i talked to the honda dealer last week and he said that only 200 or so were sent to various places (no kickers to be found in texas) to see how they do. the dealer called me back today when he got off the phone with the honda rep. and said that so many people have been wanting them that finally some dealers were going to be able to get just one. my dealer told me that there was 2 other people besides me asking him about a kicker so he said he would ask me first since he goes to the local races. he is going to order it for me monday when he is able to. he said it would take about 1-2 weeks.
