06 clutch perch

wires running to clutch perch on the 06 what is everyone doing with them when you switch to aftermarket clutch perch? i'm guessing it's a safety switch so it won't start in gear

They are for a safety switch, I always just wire them together, but then the quad will start in gear with the clutch pulled in.:devil:
