Whats up guys. I just purchesed this 250r and the kick starter was not catching. I rebuilt the kick starter with all new parts and it now catches and will kick the engine over. However It seems to kickback really hard most of the time and is almost impossible to start it with the kicker. Could I have not put it together right? If I did something wrong when assymbling it could that cause it to kickback almost everytime?...The bottom of my foot is killing me now..LOL..Or is there some other problem causing it to kick back like this?..thanks for any help you can offer...

What's your compression? What kind of setup are you running?

In the other thread, you said you have a 310. Do you know what size dome you have? Who did your motor?

all I can tell you is they said it was sleeved. It looks like a stock head. I assume the compression is not to high cause it runs well on 91 octane pump gas. No pinging
