Pro's and cons of taking off spark arrester (stock)

I was contiplating taking the stock spark arrester out, but want to know the pro's and cons!

PRO:When you take it out it sounds cool.
CON:I think it makes your bike slower, throws off backpressure for stock jettting.

u can put it back in unless u stripped the three screws.

it was tack welded in so I cut it! I guess it gives me a reason to get an exhaust now!

yea i guess you'll have to now get a hmf or white bros or sparks them would be the top three picks.but it's up to u though.

It might sound alright with the arrestor cutt out and the end cap put back on but with out the end cap it sounds like farting in a jar.

It sounds like crap, makes the backpressure so low that it is hard to keep the bike running at idle. (have to keep blipping the throttle or make the idle too fast)

the guy i bought my ex from took the baffle out and lost it.

I just got done installing my new HMF full system earlier tonight.
talk about loud!! At least it sounds good and loud.

cut in half take out all the baffles so you have an empty can cut off the screen spark arrestor then weld the end cap back on bout where the mount is and youll have a free but decent sounding and power full pipe and yes rejet for this. ill try to get a pic of mine
bu mine has a power core screen end cap over the end for looks
