I'm 15 and I bench 150 and I curl 20. Its the best way the strengthen your forearm muscles to prevent arm pump. If you want to get in the best shape for racing/riding the key is less weight more reps. You don't wan't to bulk up.

I'm 17 now and haven't lifted since I was 14, but when I was your age I weighed about 120 (so I'm not a big kid at all) and I benched (10 reps) 125-130, and curled (10 reps) 25. I don't know how I would do now though.... probably not good at all... Right now I still haven't grown much - I'm 5'8" and weigh about 133 lbs!

any random fat kid can easyly dead lift 350

Hahhaahahaha.... you guys crack me up! :D :p

I'm like 5'7" 135 lbs. I can bench 5-8 reps of my own body weight. It's been a while since I tried my max.

Curling probably 40-45 lbs per arm.

I'm not really a bulky guy but I do more resistance, cardio, and toning excersises for riding.... I sort of like being smaller, yet fit for my body size.

I can shoulder press and do lateral shoulder raises like no one's business though.. I can out lift both of my friends that weigh around 160 lol

I MIGHT belive he can deadlift 350. I dnno, I just turned 16, and I lift everyday. Right now I can Bench 215, squat 325, and deadlift 335. NOW, I hate deadlifting with a passion, I never do it. I'm sure if I did it every time I lifted legs I could put up 385 at least. I hate it with a passion though, so I never do it, it kills my back. I figured I would branch out and be the first person to bravely post some honest answers.

I have been working out for a month. I am 5-10 and 160lbs

Bench- 70 Lbs 3 sets of 10 (I have an excuse for this one, I have a healing fractured sternum, higher weight irritates it)

Curls - 30lbs, 3 sets of 10

miller821
02-22-2006, 07:56 PM
I'm 15 don't know my height but way about 130.
Bench- 160-170 around in there not for sure but i no i can put up 160 at least once so ill go with that.
Deadlift- I never max on it cause when i used to my back would kill me the next day.
Squats- I don't max on squats but instead just do 135 cause were supposed to go down as far as we can and thats what i do. I don't put 225 on cause i know i can't go down as far.
Box squats- I can do about 335, but its box squats so its real easy for just about anyone to do a lot.
Powerclean- I did 155 five times but couldn't even do one more after that. But keep in mind that i use rubber weights and i do bounce it down pretty hard to get it back up so take about 25 off and thats about what i can do without bouncing it.
Thats my weight lifting, sry i don't do curls cause its an auxilarily lift and i don't lift at the local places only at school and we have to do 2 main lifts so i don't have time for anything else.

Ok....first of all you are 14. So when your mom lets you start lifting...maybe then you will understand why alot of guys want to show off.

This is no different than anything else, why are there so many people who post pictures of their cars, motorcycles...etc? Because they spent a lot of time and money on them and want to brag a little. Same concept applies.

When you spend as much time working out that you are that big, you deserve respect...not because you are so huge and command it, because you have dedicated yourself to something and have stuck with it.

Hahaha, you both dont know what you are talking about. Number one, he is talking about curling a straight bar, meaning one bar with 110 pounds on it. Not a 110 in each hand.....haha.

Number 2...no one maxes a curl....it is a repetition excersise. Also, it would be impossible to truly max out with your arms, there is to much movement and arching your back and what not.

That's what I was talking about, straight bar..That'd be crazy to do 100 in each hand. We'll say max with curling is as much as you can while still keeping it clean, lifting it without having to use momentum to get it up.

17 -5'9" -160lb, i rep with 180 for flat bench, for incline i will do 130. i do 2 sets of 10 reps each and the last set i do a rep of 5. i stay fairly low weight curling but will push as many reps out as i can i usually curl with 75 or 80.

I havnt maxed out yet- but I do all of my bench with dumbbells. I have a shoulder problem and regular barball bench seems to hurt my shoulder. This is just what I do im my routine

I usually do 10X 135lb warmup on barbell bench- then I go do 75lb dumbbell (each hand)10x
75lb dumbbell 8 times
80lb dumbbell 6 or more, at least 6 times

then for curl I really dont have a max either

I usually do-
95lbs 10 reps
110 lbs 10 reps
120 lbs 10 reps
110 lbs 10 reps
95 lbs try for 10 reps...

those are my bench and curls...but there is more to lifting then asking how much do you bench... people always ask that when you mention anything about lifting weights "How much do you bench?" Honestly, I hate benching....I would rather be able to deadlift 500 lbs then bench 300. How many times do you press something away from your body a day? Besides working out, probably never.

I can almost do more on tricep pulldowns then bench press if you want to know the truth. Benching is gay if you ask me, its my most hated exercise besides squats.

He didnt die. He went to jail for selling juice. He lost everything because of it. He also came across some serious medical conditions afterwards. Now, he's just a plain jane @ the gym. Still has size, but not what he used to be. -lol Best part, he's a member, instead of the OWNER!

It doesn't matter if you take steroids or not you still have to be in the gym everyday to get big. With juice you just get there alot quicker!
