View Full Version : Dyna ignition
I was thinking about getting one and I was wondering if any one has ever gotten one b4. Did the extra rpm make the gears much longer and what kind of power increase did you receive?
Doesnt any one have any info on it?

a little pricey in my opinion, i got the alba racing cdi and it works awesome, no starting problems in "cold weather" i live in so. cal. so i guess there really isnt cold weaather but..... anyways go with a white-brothers or alba maybe a big gun......maybe a procomm.....heh
i like the gains i got from my rev box my gearing seems much smoother

im not a fan of the rev box because i mean how much do you really ride in you 9000 rpm range any way

i see a lot of post about rev boxes and why the heck would someone ride at 11,000 or so rpms? The way I see it is that most of your quads power (HP) is in the mid range and having a rev box allows you to keep it in the mid to to upper rpm's when you shift as to instead having a stock rev box and shifting and going all the way back down to low rpms and low power. I have a rev box and mine usually is only running high rpm's for like a second then I shift.

the dyna tends to fail pretty quick on the 400ex. on a 450r, i would definatly get one. i would get a gt thunder for the 400ex.
