Just wondering what you guys run for tire pressure and wheel size on your freestyle quads. I noticed that on one of the bigger jumps i was hitting on the mx track that my brake disk and chain were dragging when i landed, it was a rather rough landing but i was just wondering how you keep it from happening on really big jumps. i have 8 inch rims and run around 8psi, is this too little?

i usually run 13psi in all 4 tires. 18s tires in the rear and 20s up front.

hey Wired, what would be the disadvantages of running 20x11x10 in rear? i ride trails, but i also am building a sick FMX course in my backyard. am i better off with just buying a different set wheels?

in the past i have run this setup for smaller jumps, but i plan on making some bigger doubles and triples (nothing quite as big as you Akraix guys though:devil: )

by the way, you Akraix guys are really amazing! you have inspired me to go out and tear it up on the ramps! keep up the great work (and keep flipping:D )

I really like the feel of 18" rears, with 19" fronts. 20's feel great, but 19's are definitely more my style.

I sit around the same as Jon for tire pressure...between 12-13 all the time.

What about rim size? 10 fronts and 8 rears?? Any opinions?

i run 8inch rears and i love them for jumping and freestyle havent had any problems except for the bead breaking when landing a little sideways but that was because of low tire pressure

What is the purpose of having so much pressure the manual only says to have like 5 pounds in them.
