AtvMxRider- I'm real impressed with your funny picture

I seen a picture of what was left of the enzo on the news. Now i don't know if he was goin 200 or not but he was sure was haulin *** when he hit the light pole. It looked to me like he might have spun around and clipped the light pole because the car was pretty much cut in half.

For anyone who doesn't know an Enzo is worth roughly around a million dollars. I figure it was stolen because anyone who pays that much for a car isn't gonna go act stupid out on the freeway in it.

I'm not sure where they got those pictures, but that crash did not happen in the USA. Looks like Europe. Those pictures are very old. This accident happened today.

Here are some pictures of the crash mentioned in this thread.

Trust me, that motor got tossed around and thrown onto the highway at VERY high speeds. The motor is trashed - might be good for paper weight items (ie valve cover's, cams...etc).

Well when the enzo's first came out I know they were 2 mill.

02-21-2006, 06:12 PM
at 2:00 am like 3 days ago, someone was riding a gsxr 1000 on the highway going 150 mph. and he ran into a taco-bell, his bike desinagrated (yes desinagrated) he foot was in the ceiling, he was missing all his fingers, if u look inside of the taco bell you still see blood on the walls.

and a couple years earlier kids hit a powerpole going 80 and they all died (which is right next to the taco bell)

EDIT: he flew thru a brick wall, and his bike stopped, which caused him to fly off his bike at 300mph) going thru another brick wall.

my uncles a cop and he had to go see it

theres more i just cant think of everything right now

Yes, that is the sticker price, however in this class of such a limited car, very few, if any actually pay sticker.

Even if you had the cash, and there were some available (brand new), you still could not buy one. There are pre req's beyond just cash needed to buy the car. I think you have to have a history of owning Ferrari's as well as getting a recommendation from a dealer.... I think. All I know is cash alone would not buy the car brand new.

In order to buy one of the orginal Enzo's when they were for sale new you had to own a f-40 and another ferrari plus you signed a contract that stated you would not sale the car for a set amount of years I want to say 1 year but am not 100% sure.

Malibu is in southern california. PCH Pacific Coast Highway runs basically the entire length of the California Coast. Malibu I believe
is in Los Angeles County.

KCAL 9 news is a smaller local market station for the inland empire. Way better to watch in my opinion then abc, cbs, or nbc.

That story was on all of the channels and on radio out here. It was pretty nasty but we get lots of stories like that with all of the street racing going on. Only difference is that its usually a smaller rice burner type car and not a million dollar farrari.

Just like the Mercedes SLR Maclaren has a sticker price of 5 6 hundred thou u cant buy one for under a mill cause they are hard to get. and i can only imagine enzos are much harder to get

I seen it on the news tonight .... 2 guys going way too fast out in Cali and hit a guard rail from what was said on the news .One guy got thrown from the car up into a tree  ?!?!?! The news pegged the price of the car at $600 000 , but like MOFO said it's probably worth around $2 million . I know they say you have to be screened and have proof of previous ownership of Ferrari's ... but if you have enough cash , you can get one . If I had the cash to spend , I could go to Toronto ( closest Ferrari dealer) walk into a dealership that sells them and walk away with a Ferrari . I know of a guy here in town that has done it . Money talks !!!!!!!

The qualifications for owning an Enzo:
- must be in high ranking in terms of valued Ferrari customers
- must have owned 40th Anniversary car Ferrari F40
- must have owned 50th Anniversary car Ferrari F50

The "F60" mentioned above is what the Enzo was originally going to be called, to commemorate the 60th Anniversary. The name was then changed to Enzo to celebrate the life of founder, Enzo Ferrari.

BTW, PCH is Pacific Coast Highway 1 that extends thru California and up the west coast. Malibu lies on the beach and PCH on the border of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. I used to live in Thousand Oaks, that is in Ventura County. All I had to do was go drive down the canyons about 15 miles and you would be at the beach, on PCH. Malibu is a very expensive area, with a lot of nice restaurants and very expensive homes overlooking the ocean (we're talking $1-10 million easily). If you continue south down PCH, you end up in Santa Monica, which is expensive in its own regard, and sits right next to West Los Angeles, and of course, Beverly Hills, which most of you should have an idea about.

Also, Ferrari Enzo's retailed for about $675,000, but sell consistently for about $1.1 million. Ferrari only made a total of 399 Enzo's, about less than half of which came to the U.S. So far, 4 Enzo's have already been totalled, I guess this would make number 5. Sucks for that guy.

About The Enzo (http://www.web-cars.com/enzo/index.html)

Quote's taken from this article....

"A set of brake pads is said to cost $6,000 and for the rotors the bill is $24,000":eek2:
I think that wheel would go home with me too! :D

" The stated base price is $659,430, including $8400 freight and $7700 gas-guzzler tax. "

No, you cannot buy one "new". It does not matter HOW much money you offer. See the list posted above about the qualifications required to buy an Enzo. This car is not about making money... Its not up to your dealer either to approve the sales... I'm sure the descision is made @ Ferrari.

Besides, all of the Enzo's (399 I think) have been sold.

Here, im gonna go buy one tonite, and we'll find out what one really cost's... haha... who cares how much the car is, just know that it is very pricey!!! I bet the wrecked car is still worth $100k+ I'd give up my Envoy for that thing anyday..hell for the wheel even...lol
