Hey I got my hmf slip-on and I dont know which way it goes on...I mean I know I slip it on the header pipe, but does it go over the head pipe or slide in it??? any help is appreciated...

im not quite sure but, wouldn't the companies logo be facing outward. if there is a logo? plus the pipe has to hang under the bold that holds it in. just see which way the bolts to hold the pipe line up with the threasd on the subframe.

I am not familiar with that particular pipe but, I have NEVER seen a tail Piece that didn't gpo over top the head pipe

logicly I would think it would go over it because if it went inside there would be a lip which would restrict air flow. I havn't taken off my exhaust pipe but I couldn't see them putting in on the inside.

flaneled tell me what you think of your HMF slip on. i just ordered one to go with my 416, i hope it has a nice rumble to it

It sounds like a street bike just louder at low rpm and it has a scream from he!! when wound out. I like it it is just a bit harder to wheelie now cuz I think it has a bit of a jerky powerband but I think its my fault...
