today my friend called me up. he was at his bosses storage garage charging the battery on his show truck. he looked over and happended to see a yellow 250ex. checked it out and it had a durable axle, tags, and a few other things that i had. then he looked closer and realized it was mine that got stolen on halloween night 2 and a half years ago. i went down and took a look at it and sure enough it was mine. we talked to the landlord and he called up the renter of the unit. he came down we talked for a lil and he handed it over. said he bought it in the want ad for $700 2 years ago and hasent ridden it sence. what are the chances

yea im pretty sure he had something to do with stealing it. its fine, he said it hasent been ridden in 2 years and its been garaged the whole time. everything aftermarket is still on it and it has brand new plastics on it. the only thing wrong is that there is no seat and the battery is dead. i cant complain though. 2 and a half years and its still the same quad. it still doenst feel real that i found it after that long. when we were talking to him he was real scared saying he doesnt want the cops involved cause we could just say he stole it and they would go after him for it. his story is that he bought it about 2 and a half years ago out of the want ad for $700. the guy told him it was crashed thats why the front was new silver paint and the vin numbers gone and no plastics. too bad they werent smart enough to take off the engine number which matched right up. its just still amazes me the chances. that is the only bay in the storage garage that doesnt have a wall seperating it from the rest and my friends bosses is right next to it, he just moved it there a week ago he said.
