i hear the elka rec series are a very good shock for the money. the g-force axle is supposed to be good. and for a-arms, jd performance makes a nice set for a relativly cheap price.

If you're tryin to save money you can pretty much go with whatever brand a-arms you want that you can find cheap. And I would definitely not go too cheap on the shocks(works) I've owned a couple pairs of elkas and they have always worked great. It really depends on what type of riding you're going to be doing though

I just got an 04' 250ex. Just wanted to know if any one has had any luck using the cr85 rear shocks and what year I can use. Also for the front what is the good upgrade for the 400ex shocks?

im not too sure if they are a direct fit but 450r shocks would definetly be the cheapest upgrade

I reccomend a set of elkas or even TCS. TCS is a GREAT shock and not quite as spendy as the Elkas. Also, Burgards aArms are a STEAL! I have them and have been very happy with mine .:) I also have Elkas and trust me... They were a savior two weeks ago :eek2:
