Wondering, whats eeryones opinoin on running synthetic oil. Problay get a bit costly but does it have benefits or waht.. Let me know what you think is best..Thanks guys and gals

well i was thinking that you couldnt use car or truck motor oil due to the fact it doesnt have the materials in it for the clutch and things. So i was wondering abotu a specifif "motorcycle" synthetic oil. Thanks for the help
It's absolutely fine to run in an ATV or dirtbike.
The benefits of running it over petroleum is worth the extra cost and your motor will love you for it.
What else you want to know????

what brand rico do you like...or shoudl i be using..i will have my new 06 yammi here in a month or so..so im getting ready ..and getting things together and such...so what od you think?

yah amsoil is prob. one of the best..i dont know where to find it and I am too lazy to start experimenting with oils..id run amsoil from the beginning if Iwas you...only heard good things about them

There is no experimenting, you either run the best or run crap. It's up to you...LOL
also Amsoil can only be bought thru dealers not off the shelf at wally world or the local gas station.

RICO...are you a dealer? i take it or no? So help me out here..i live in indianpolis indiana....know any dealers...local or waht...thanks alot...i dotn wnat ot have to drive an hour to get soem oil...i woudl like to buy it by the case in advance and have it shipped if posible?

also can you explain to me why paying extra for the amsoil is better htan regular yamalube lets just say...? thanks..what benefits or what?
Instead of me writing out a book click the link below and do some reading.
I've been using synthetic in my quad for 5 years and only replaced the clutch once. I've been using it in my truck and cars for 10 years.

You didn't waste my time dude, I"m glad to help. I hate to see people spend thousands of dollars on an ATV and dump junk into the crankcase.
