wiseco piston wrong size??????

I was ready to sell this bike 91 250x because it was smoking after a rebuild this weekend I decide to take it back apart and check everything. I found the new wiseco piston was 1MM to small. It was stamped 74mm but was actually 73mm. Has anyone else had this problem? I put new rings on the old sock piston 74mm and the bike fires right up and no smoke. I will try to send it back this week.:mad:

i have heard of it happening, not sure where tho. i'm sure wiseco will make it right
