ive reed a few posts about changing the stock needle in the 06 to an adjustable one. Ive seen people using the hmf and the crf needles. My question is does anyone know the the crf needle will work properly. Is the taper and pitch of the needle what is needed in the 06?
the problem i am having is i need ro run a bigger main jet to make my quad run good through the mid range but at the top im too rich and the quad falls on its face. if i run a smaller main it runs WAY stronger at the top but i get a slight stumble when i gas it comming out of a turn.i think getting a needle will let me set it up righer in the middle instead over keeping a big main jet in there.
If you have any other suggestion please chime in.
