could i get more speed and low end power?

Im new to riding and i have a 99 300ex with kn filter dyno jet kit and yoshi pipe. How could i get more low end power and more speed? I race my friend and he has a 02 250ex w/ big gun dyno kit and kn filter and he can sometimes beat me. I think thats pretty sad maybe its just me who sucks. Probably but oh well.

sorry man but it is YOU my wife had a 300EX with a White Brother pipe and my friend has a 250EX with a yoshi pipe and I would kill him.

Two guys racing, one time one wins, while another time the other wins!:cool: I would not change a thing.... Once one of you starts winning all the time, then that person should make a "speed" change. My 2 cents.:)

Note: I need to get more speed just to hang with my buddies.:D
