450r hub

I have a question. Will a 400ex front hub fit and work well on a 450r do the splines match up. Im only asking because i have a set of aftermarket 400ex front hubs lying around and i figure id put them on the 450 but im nto gonna do it if the splines dont match up etc.

I have the Hardkore aftermarket hubs for my 400EX and was told that they would not work for the 450R...:( Hardkore has a different part number for the 450R.

Sorry... I do not know the reasoning.

the spindle studs and the ramps on them!;)
