TheFontMaster

Another great month, so many quads to go through to pick the final 10. I didn't count how many quads entered, but I would say this month, hands down has had more entries than any other month.

I will put all the quads pics, and info up later tonight, untill then here is the link to the entry thread.

Yes the contest is more about looks, but by no means is that the only thing that it is based on. When I pick out the quads for the poll, I look for both looks, and mods that are done to the quad. Remember the winning quad is also something that will represent the site, so I look for quads that will do that well in both the looks, and mods department, with a little more emphasis on the looks.

Glad to see someone mention this. Anyone who races knows what it is like to enter a competition for 200-350cc or 200-300cc against quads that are beyond that.

This is a show and shine competition and not an actualy race. The quads are still considered "Sport Class" period.

Sorry if I sound in a bad mood. Sinus issues and a broken tooth....bad combo. :(

You are racing in a little box if you base your statement on JUST GNC or GNCC races. You need to include local series as well. Here in the southeast there are several MX series running "Sportsman" or "Sport Class" classes that include Mojaves, Blasters, Warriors, 300ex's, etc. Some of them are even called "Warrior" or "Blaster" classes. I would be willing to bet that Sport Class MX races are held all over the US.

I'm not going to say anymore on the subject. Becasue it would be beating a dead horse. Have a great and blessed day!

Yes, there are many series running sport quad classes, Blaster classes, etc, but they limit it to 350cc. According to your post, you race with the 450s, locally and nationally, and had planned to enter the QOTM with the big boys. However, you do have an awesome quad and showed it well. But I still favor racerdude56, naturally. :)

Regardless of what the rules for races are, For this contest I am defining sport class as any quads that are between 200, and 350cc's stock. And quads that are considered sport class quads. 250r's, banshee's etc even though they meet the cc requirements are are in a compleatley different class. All the quads in the contest fit in those two guidelines.

This is rigged. Everytime I get one vote, 1 to 5 new members join and vote for Ryan. Now, I've been around a while and can tell when the poles are being padded. 75 votes in less than 24 hours? If I'm wrong, I appologize.

I agree with you. But there is no way for me personaly to go back and check who voted for who. There have been a couple months in the past where there have been dissagreements about new people comming to vote. Basicaly what it comes down to is that not everyone that will come to the site to vote will vote for the person that they were told to. While there were some new members here, some of them have openly admitted to voting for Lurch. Also they plan on staying around the site, so in the long run, it helps bring new people to the site that can contribute to it.

It's not an ego thing for me. I really needed the blingstar discount to outfit my race trailer. I've got all my $$$ tied up in the Mojave.

There is one every month, but part of the rules that I made when I started the contest was that you could only enter your quad 3 months after it has been in a contest. That is just to keep some people from just entering thier quad every month. Another part of that is that the winner can't enter a quad of thiers for one year, and if they do enter the same quad again there has to be significant visual changes made to it.

It's all in the rules thread.

i just found this site too. as ive been poking around i noticed its a great site for the bigger quads. i will definitely be sticking around because i like researching other quads.looking for what i want next. and i agree with greenblood because the mojave a great quad (mine kick starts on the first kick in 30 degree weather and its a 91) they stay up with 300exs, blasters, warriors. nobody ever races them and theres always like 10 blasters at my track. raynes blaster is an awsome quad but i just wanted to say im not a fake.

i say they race each other to end this:D

I saw what was going on with the votes and went to other sites because I didn't want to loose. Who does when you have as much as me invested in an ATV. I'm not mad becasue I lost. I 'm mad becase the way I lost. How many of the 'new' accounts that voted for Ryane will even be on here again? I probably got less than 25 votes from new members from other sites.

I would really like to see what would happen if we did a recount and only included people with more than five posts. How do you think it would come out? Riddle me that Batman.

I'm letting this die now. I hope the voting is more fair for the next group.

Rayne's blaster has what 6 grand at most?

How many tricked out blasters do you see? everyone and their brother has a modded blaster. Whose ever seen a mojave like lurches?

Yah know I hate to tell yah guys, but rayne did something that everyone in politics and anyone else who is in a competition would do.... get help from his friends.... there was nothing stopping lurch from recruiting votes... once he saw that new people were coming on the site voting for rayne he could have had people do the same thing... Rayne didn't cheat, just was smart about it.... the rules say nothing about the members have to be long time active members, so there's nothing wrong with it...

Congrats Rayne !
