How do you guys get your spark plugs out for checking your jetting? anyone have any tricks? its such a pain on the 400ex, i have to take my plastics and gas tank off to get to it.

Dude... Your Crazy:eek2: All you gotta do is stick the socket in there that comes in the tool kit and stick the alan wrench through the socket and turn it.

Yep its pretty easy go to advance auto and buy a ratchet that goes into different positions. BIg Help

or you could go to ur local shop and buy a spark plug wrech there like $6.95

use the stock wrench to get it out. I also find that tipping the bike up on its tail makes the job easier.

do u need to use new spark plugs when doing plug checks, for checking your jetting? or can u use the same one?

any spark plug wrench from any quad tool kit will work i think.. im using one off of my dads arctic cat :confused:

all i use is a deep well thin wall socket with the shortest extension u can get. its easy to check the spark plug i dont see how anybody has trouble checking them. but i never checked the plug with anything other than a ratchet.

I use the stock spark plug wrench to loosen it, and then once it's unscrewed completely, I'll stick the boot back on and pull it out that way.

Ya its pretty easy once you know how to do it, but when your first learning its hard to get down.
