hey what part of kansas are you in? my wife has a 86 r and wants a 4-stroke. im in fort scott thats in south east kansas. her bike runs and looks good. she probably wont want to do anything for a few weeks because we are headed to the dunes in oklahoma on the 10th. but we can talk about it i have yahoo messenger and msn messenger if this helps...this bike is adult ridden and owned.. let me know

hey we just got back from the dunes. the r ran flawless. it was a good time. let me know if you are still interested and we will see what we can work out. thanks

87 250r here is a pic if interested and im also located in kansas
paddles,clymer,its on its first bore wiseco ( 20 over) paul turner pipe and answer pipe(answer has dent) 88 oem plastic motor is very near stock but runs strong and reliable.(piston/rings are about 15 hrs on it)

still has tools,overflow bottle,all the stock skid plates,bumper,grab bar, it even has the original key and ignition mounting (on aftermarket handlebars)
this one is real clean, stock frame no cracks or welds,
only problem is trying to get the tires to hook up

yes, the biggest thing is if its reliable, its going to be for the wife.
I want to get her something she can play on and I dont want to do anything but change oil and clean filters

I will get you some pics. I have never had Any problems with it has a fresh motoar and tranny w/ recipets done by powersports shop. just replace brake pads on it today. I change oil on regular basis.
