adjusting clutch

i have a 96 300ex and when i put the clutch in first gear it still moves but not very fast. is there a way to adjust the clutch. thanks

There is but im not too for sure about the 300 but Ill give it a shot... Look at your clutch cable follow that cable all the way down to the motor... You will find like two nuts that you can loosen and tighten... Play around with that some and there you go... Please someone correct me if Im wrong cuz I may be wrong...

after adjusting your clutch and allowing for approx. 1/4 to 1/2 " freeplayat the lever. If the clutches still lead off then the fingers on your basket are probably grooved from the tabs on the discs pounding them. You can remove the clutches and basket and file them out. Be sure to keep the edge straight when filing
