i race dirt track on bikes and have lowered my own suspension before. it is not easy to do. for the front you have to take apart the forks and put a spacer on the dampaning rod. the lenght of the spacer is the amount of travel you are going to take out of the forks. you also have to cut the spring down and coilbind it. for the rear you have to take the shock apart and ad a spacer to the shaft so it does not extend all the way you also have to cut the spring down. there are several companies that do this. MCR is the palce that did mine. they also revalve it. they do great work.
