which oil to use in the in the transmission?

i've always used the Bel Ray gearsaver oil 80w if I remember right. It's not realy that thick but still needs to warm up good before beatin on it. Never had any problems , but I change it pretty often also.

I have always ran the Honda 85W gear oil specifically for 250R and CR250 transmission. When rebuilding my crank, the transmission gears still looked like new.

ive been using this stuff, works great and i think it doesnt break down as fast as other oils ive used

Gotta Go with the Belray myself. I've ran it in my 99YZ250, My Banshee, and my R, never had a problem.

i run the honda stuff in my 250r, cr125, kx60 and kx80 it seems to work great i change every other ride if i ride hard

I run lucas synthetic, the ***** is awesome 75w-90

I run Amsoil 10w40 Synthetic Motorcycle Oil on my transmission. It is great stuff and it is made for wet clutches.

i usually change mine every 2-3 rides. if im feeling lazy or was just cruising instead of riding hard, 4 rides

I get it from a local racing shop. Or myoilshop.com they have great prices. I think redline makes the best oil peroid!!!
That is all that is run in my quad and truck.:macho
