Im trying to change my axlecarrier bearings, and this is the 3rd time ive done this( not on the same bike) and the first time i did it it was hard to get off, the 2nd time it was easy as cake and now that im doing it on my 2005 300ex its not wanting to come off.

Does anyone have any suggestions.

Since you said you've done it 3 times i figure you are twisting them the right way. mine was real hard to get off, until i figured out a real quick jerk with a big crecent will do it. it has to be a really quick jerk to bust it. make sure you have the thin locknut unscrewed, put some kind of wd-40 or some kind of lube like that and let it sit for a minute. and try what i said. i know on the big locknut you jerk up on it and the other one is opposite. hope this helps. if you got a double wide bearing carrier with a grease fitting you won't have to change them as often at all. ebay has some for 130bucks.

And once your get that axle nut off, throw it right in the garbage, and get an antifade.

It's a lock nut that doesn't come loose while your riding like stock ones do. They are also alot easier to loosen to take off the axel. You can get an antifade that replaces the stock lock nut, and rear brake rotor hub, or ones that are just the lock nut itself.

Antifade with rotor hub..

regular anti fade..

The first one is the better way to go, but of course it's more expensive.
