first race friday butterflys!!!

What should I do....I can't stop thinkin about it...How am I going to get off the line fast....how can I get away from the pack...these are the things running through my head.....but the thing that really bugs me is how can I get A good hole shot.....and get away from most of the pack??

Dude, its perfectly normal. Even some of the pros get butterfly's before they go. Just stay calm and relaxed and keep focused on what you need to do.

dude calm down its your first race you dont have to get the holeshot or beat the whole field ur first time out. chill just chilll. oh and ride at ur own pace and have fun.

the most important part is to have fun, if you don't have fun and crash or something, then it might turn you away from racing, so just have fun and ride smart, don't be trying to go at other peoples paces, just stick to your own to get a feel for it.
