View Full Version : New Quad Tech hood?

I was at motorama on Saturday and I saw a 450r that had a quadtech hood on it, but it was different from all of the other ones that I have seen. It was this style http://quadtech-atv.com/media/products/qt_trx_450r_hp1.jpg but the scoop was a little bit smaller and it was moved higher up on the hood, it was slimmer like the Tim Farr smooth hood, and the front was more rounded off. It was almost like a combination of the regular scooped hood and the smoothie. It looked really cool, but I was kind of in a hurry so I didnt think about tanking a picture of it. does anyone have any info about this?

have you seen that style that you put that picture of in real life before? because it looks a lot different in real life than in the pics.

Quad-tech does have a new hood out, it's not available yet though. There's a guy on the .org site that allready has it.

Ya quad tech has a new hood.
If you look at Dustin wimmers, Kieth Littles 450 those are the new style hoods.

I am pretty sure they are available to the public because i am getting mine shortly.

What would be really nice is if Quadtech would update their site once and awhile!

yeah, thats the one, thanks cb450r. I dont think it looks very good in the pic, but on the bike it looks AWESOME!

The hood is available...The picture of the new hood posted here is a picture I took of one I've had since December.

Yep, Oldsandman I couldn't find any other decent photos of that hood so i had to jack yours:D

my friend and i both have one. ours are plastic, not carbon fiber like the one in the picture above.
