I know this is a dumb question...but where is the oil filter and the fuel filter on the 250ex(03)?

If youre serious and not just being an ***, I'll tell you. The fuel filter is in the fuel line. Doubtful that you have one. Spend a dollar and get one of the clear ones from your local shop. Just make sure it goes in the right direction of the flow.

Im telling you this from memory, but the 250ex oil filter, I THINK, is on the right side of the quad behind a little round cover with two bolts. Drain your oil, remove the cover, pull out your filter. Put the new one in EXACTLY the way it came out, and dont forget the o ring.

Oh yeah, get yourself a Clymers manual. :ermm:

Thats odd because my wifes 01 250 ex, which I just went out to the garage to look at cuz you had me thinking I was smoking crack, has a Fram CH6015 oil filter, which by the way, is the same filter that is in 300ex.

There is not an oil filter on the 250ex.

Maybe ours is just wierd or from another planet. Dunno...

Definitely not arguing. I know that 250ex are supposed to have a screen. Whatever this thing is that says 250ex on the side of that we just got in trade last week for a pair of Banshee cylinders has an oil filter. Guess I need to see what I have here...

I believe it has a screen but no filter.
