easy things always end up hard

today when i was riding my z400 started to bog out when i let go of the clutch a little in first gear. i tried everything and all day i was thinking of how to fix it..it turned out water leaked into the carb and all i needed to do was drain it! wasted a whole day figuring that one out

how did u get the water out of the carb?

there is a little screw at the bottom of it that drains it

ok cus it always happens on my recon. i give it some carb medic

it never happened to me before so i couldnt figure out what it was. i just took a wild guess to drain the carb and out comes some water

Where do you live? I always run some Dry gas in with my gas in the winter. Sometimes the tanks at the gas station will get condesation jsut like your tank on the wheeler. There are seperators in lines but they don't trap all of the water.

ya i ran some dry gas throught mine also..it seems to run perfect again. i wish it ran like this all day :ermm:
