Take a look at the exhaust... And no radiator... It's an air-cooled 4-stroke. ;) That engine looks even taller than a 660R Rappy engine. Wonder how durable the frame was? :confused:

It be awesome to pull that motor out, get extended a-arms and swing arm, then put like a 250cc 2 stoke dirt bike motor on there .... drop it to the ground .... I get to creative on this kinda stuff lol ....

ATK 406. ATK started using Rotax 2-stroke motors in the late 1980's. The air-cooled engines were used up to mid-90's when they adopted the liquid cooled design. Rotax 4-strokes were also used

I don't think this bike was an actual production bike. I think ATK made this using their dirt bike 604 engine and fabbed it up as a "prototype" and Dirtwheels or 4Wheel Action did a story on it. I remember being around 16 or so, and reading about it in the mag. It' looked so sick, back then because the only 4 stroke sport quads you could buy in 1993 were the 300ex, the Warrior and the Majove 250.

Hmm.. That looks IDENTICAL to a Laegers Narrow frame. I imagine it wouldnt be superfast . Remember its back in the day so a 600 CC Air cooled 4 stroke wouldnt be much faster then a 400ex.

Why wouldn't a 604cc air cooled 4stroke be any faster than a 400cc air cooled 4 stroke again? Hmmm? I'm stumped. 1993 - back in the day! That's hilarious.
