View Full Version : Yoshi slip -on Ques?

I just got mine and when i put it on it looks like it hangs down at the strap mount,anyone that has this pipe please let me know if this is right. also does a 165 main with a k&n and a 4x5hole in the lid sound right? thank you for the help. heres a pic!

mine hung down like that new also, it will hang alittle more after some hard riding. But nothing major.

Hey ex 80 did you leave the stock rubber bushing in?I didnt see how you could take it out then the whole got huge! What jettin did you run? thanks

you leave the rubber bushings in it, you take them out by taking the air box out, but you need them. My jetting will do you no good, I have more than a pipe, i have pistion carb, porting, ect.

Mine hangs like that as well.

All of them hang like that. Eventually I am going to replace my rubber bushing. I run 165 with no airbox lid, but I'm not too far above sea level either. Check you elevation up there. I know that the closer you get to Lake Michigan the closer you get to sea level (about 900ft above) which is about where I'm at. If you higher up in elevation, you may need to go down to 162 or 160 main. Hope this helps.

Mine is like that too. You will need a 160 or 165 main-jet, I have my lid off and I run a 165.

aren't the Dyno jets different sizes then the regular jets. in the instructions from K&N it said to install the 165 main jet. the biggun sheet said go with a 155 - 158 size. are they that same size or am i running rich?

I am running the K&N kit and a 165 works fine for me.

dynojet jets are different from stock jets.
