i now this has been posted before but wat kind of cam chain will fit my 440. wats the best one for it? i head somthing about a crf cam chain wat kind or is it beter to get a hd cam chain.

i ran a CRF cam chain in one of my old 400 motors but never got it to run right, they are the exact same size thouh

won't the 450r cam chain work or is that what you meant by crf?

The timing chains out of the CRF450 motocross bikes is a HeavyDuty direct replacement. Its the same size, but alot stronger. Thats the way to go.

i have a 2002 crf450 cam chain in my 416ex now and i dotn have a bad thing to say about it. its way stronger and less easily streched. a bonus is that it is actually cheaper than buying a stock ex cam chain. its the same heavy duty cam chain you see others selling, they are jsut trying to make some easy money (i dont blame them, its very easy over ebay). call up the site sponser C&D Racing and they can get you one for $33.
