Subaru Wrx Sti?

Does anyone have this car, how do they like it? God any PICS? Im only 13, but when the time comes, i want to get this car.Even though im too young, i still like looking at them.

i have beat some in races :blah:. actually two of my friends have them. well had, one died in a car accident in it street racing. he was going 140 cart wheeled end over end and not one air bag deployed, i lost all respect in subaru after that. not the only subaru that has had problems i know of 2 wrxs that had head on colessions and they didn't deploy either. i don't think they are safe cars at all. but please if you race do it on a track. I know it sounds bad that he died street racing, but it does happen and i wouldn't want to see anyone else go like he did.

yea i know, i would definatly get a used one. Mabe not my first car, just a car that i would really like to get.

even used they are expensive, they hold their value. if you ever get one, you will not be disappointed.

My brother-in-law has one. They are pretty quick and they handle very well with the all wheel drive.

kawasaki_ridah srry about what happend to your friend but i dont think air bags would of done anything for him even if they deployed. doing 140 and then fliping is bad .

2 people ik have sti's and then 2 others have worked WRX's


my friends o4 sti is worked and so far so good....

my friends 06 sti has been nothing but problems....he took it to subaru 3 times now, and the final time with a blown diff. I am assumeing that they forgot to put fluid in it, but none the less it caused him to lock the rear of the car up and send him into the gaurd rail.

there a fast car for the money...but the reliability of a 4 banger turbo doesnt sound good to me.

i also like that car.. and the Nissan Skyline, and Toyota supra But they are hard to get (skyline and supra)

I think the front of the 05 looks better than the 06 IMO

My neighbor bought one last summer for $42,000, and its the nicest car I have ever ridden in. He sometimes sets the cruise at 150 just so he can tell people that he did. It didnt even come with a radio in it but I guess its meant for "rally racing"

Im not sure, I remember when he bought it he said it was $42,000 and it had no radio. I think he might have bought an upgraded version meant for racing or something, but I know it was brand new.

Only the 2006 sti comes with a radio. The 05 and previous years didnt come with a radio, you need to buy a head unit if you want a radio in it since it does have speakers.

thanks, yeah you are prob right. but, still i think they should have. i mean i feel bad about it, but where he was street racing it makes me mad. I mean he could have killed someone else too, like van with an entire family

$42,000 for a STi? You have to be kidding me? Somebody got ripped. I thought it was the 04s that didn't come with head units but I could be wrong on that one. I would love to have one myself. I wouldn't build it too much though. I just want a daily driver that if fun to drive and gets me through the city so I can get home after work or make up some time when I oversleep:blah:
