Cleaning a frame?

What are some ways to clean a frame from paint except sanding it and how much would it cost?

i wouldnt suggest useing a wire wheel there very dangerous, wouldnt feel very good when one fo teh wires come flyin off and stick into your body a guy around me had a piece of teh wire fly off and into his eye hes not blind in one eye

Yeah, one day I was using one and got 1 stuck in my cheek and 1 in my chest at the same time. They suck!!!

If you don't mind me asking, How much did it cost to sand blast it?

im not sure it was 200 for sandblasting and powdercoating the frame, swinger, engine mounts, and footpegs.

sand blasting is the best way hands down. i dont know how much it would coast i have a gun and compresser

i already have a compresser but i need a gun. Is that all i would need besides the sand?

ya thats all you need except you proly want like a sandblasting mask or something because that sand hurts like a *****. i started my frame but it takes a looonnnggg time so i said h*ll with it ill let him do it:devil:

it cost me 85 canadian to hav the frame blasted and 100 for the frame pcd'

just buy industrial strengt paint stripper let it sit for awhile and scrape it off with a razor, works awesome

Wear as long sleve shirts etc, cover your face.. sand hurts like a ***** !
