i have never installed an after market cam befor and was hoping i could get some tips thanx

its pretty easy. follow the directions in the manual, and make sure to line up the sprocket marks with the top surface of the head. one mark will be at 12 and the others are at 3 and 9 oclock. the cam lobes need to point down as well when you install the sprocket. also try to keep the chain on the crank so it won't get buched up, and keep the slack in the chain on the tensioner side. for the sprocket bolts, clean them off (and the holes in the cam) with brake cleaner, then loctite and torque them to spec. use assembly lube on the lobes and rocker tips and fill up the oil well in the head with oil. when you put the rocker cover on, clean off the mating surfaces reall well with acetone, thinner, etc and use hondabond or yamabond, they work the best. the tensioner screws in clockwise to wind it in, and to release it just turn it counterclockwise a little and it will spring back into place.

thats a big help im going to use that when i put cams in mine
