really dumb question

jw i want to make my dvx a lil louder,if i unscrew the three bolts that hold my end cap in and cut the screen off and just left it open hole,i do not want to pull out the entire spark arrestor becuase it looks like crap and i dont want it overly loud,so my question is will this take away power? will it make a big differnce inperformance? also will it hurt anythin and would i need to re-jet? thnx!

you may have a very slight pickup in power, but it will sound like crap. it will be louder but wont sound good at all. just save up and buy a good pipe.

I think that you can pick up an HMF slip-on for around $200. With that you will get great sound, and great power.

yea just save up for a pipe don't even cut the s/a sounds like crap anyway.
