PC pics of 300ex parts (WIFE"S)

Some of the parts i got back from powder coating today.This is my WIFE"s 300ex. She loves the colors. Got to admit looking better than i thought. Also have the new maier pink plastic.Waiting on more parts so can put her back together.

Your gonna have fun cleaning the powder coat out of all those holes for your bolts but it looks great.

Holes were plugged.So far no problems with that.Hopefully it will be back together this weekend if my parts come in.My wife likes it.The trails open up in the end of March.Ready to do some riding.

is the engine cleaned or coated with something ?

engine was bead blasted then painted with high heat paint

cool... how did you keep the media from getting inside of the engine?

left old header pipe and taped up the end of it.Took the carb boot off.made a small aluminum plate to fit,drilled some holes in it to match the holes for the boot.Put the boot back on over the plate.Tightend the boot.Taped the boot up good.Left the old sparkplug in it.No problem with the media getting in.

LOL ok the magazine on the table is called STUFF its some kind of bull crap mag.Started getting a bunch of free magazines when i orderd dirtwheels and few other auto magazines.The cover looks good be the inside sucks. LOL

Yeah i am planning on it.Just got in a lil hurry.New sprocket on the way.Going to clean up the rest tomorrow.
