Has anyone powdercoated their cylinder? I'm thinking of doing this on my 450r but am concerned heat and engine temps being affected.

Any thoughts?

well the way i'm thinking is that since, it's a liquid cooled motor, you will have a little effect in the heat by PCing the cylinder, but since air is not it's major cooling, you shouldn't have any problems

Also, with the PC chambers seeing 400 degrees, is there a chance of warping or messing the cylinder up via heat?

i would doubt it, considering it sees more heat than that when it is installed.

As for PC'ing it, you can get heat dissapating PC to actually help keep it cooler. Contact pappy and ask him in the BK performance section.
