does anyone use or have experience with oversized valves? Do they make a big difference or do you need a lot of other mods to make them work?

i used a little critical thinkin and ill prolly get laughed at, but i think i may have the answer. if you get an oversized valve, it seems like you could port and polish alot more to allow more airflow, and you could port more with the oversize because...well its and oversize. someone please correct me if im wrong, i would like to know the right answer

im not totally sure on this but i do know that the larger vavles r a start for more airflow. i think that along with them u should port and polish and the big thing would be to get a bigger carb. plus then go to the exhaust side and a larger headpipe. i believe this is a good way to get some power. thats my plans for this winter.

My engine builder has told me. They add power mostly in the top end. But like crashin matt said they make a lot more of a diffrence with a carb and bigger headpipe.
