Buying a 2005 TRX400EX...question on price

I can get a new 2005 TRX400EX for $5400.00 out the door. There are no hidden charges anywhere. Is this a good deal? This will be my first four-wheeler. I am 5 foot 10 inches tall & weigh 190, will this quad be okay for me?

the quad will be perfect for ya,im 5-11 200lb and I love my 06 400ex.As far as the price, that is the same price I paid for my 06 400 but all and all its a normal price

It seems like all the eastern states can sell the four-wheelers cheaper than over hear in the western states. I have been looking on ebay lately to see what their prices are & it seems like dealers in Ohio can sell really cheap. I don't know why that is. There is no way that I can get a 2006 for the same price. I'm jealous.

I paid $5400 for my 2005 back in June. Now the dealer is selling leftover 2005's for $4800.

No. $5400 OTD is doing pretty good.

For a 2005 400EX I paid $4595. After tax, title, and lic. it came to $4942 out the door!

When I got my '04 in '05, I paid $4613 OTD. Now the same dealer is selling leftover '05's for, you guessed it, $4613 OTD. The best deal I've found anywhere.

I have seen a dealership in PA selling the 05 400 ex for 3899.00 This does not include taxes and title if applicable..Some of the prices mentioned above are really HIGH.I can get new 450r hondas for 5699.00.

I paid $5600 OTD for my 05 but this was years ago when they first came out. Now I could get an 05 for like $4400 OTD. It all depends on your dealer though. The dealership by my house charges like $1000 more than the dealership in Los Angeles that I buy from. In other words, you might have to drive if you want a good deal.

bought my 04 in dec. of 04 and it cost me 4500 otd thats in texas.

I thought it was pretty good. Just before that i checked on a 04 z400 and they said 5400 so i went with the honda.

I just bought a 2005 400ex and it was $5,199 otd. That was the best deal I could find here in California. Sounds like you can get them alot cheaper back east, but I didn't want to buy out of state for DMV reasons.

I bought it last weekend. I got the yellow one. $5400 was the cheapest anyone here would go, so I took it. I took it out last monday & it was awesome.

I got my 01 400 ex baten and battered for 1300.00 and I have put all new stuff on it,shox,a arms,bearings,bars,wheels,tires,body,big bore,pipe,skids.Still only have about 2300 bux involved.I luv this quad.Its gonna be great.I am on the home stretch.Just waiting for gt thunder to send back my cylinder and its done.It will be built exactly how I wanted it and look real nice too.
