hmf headpipe problem?

where you bolt the headpipe to the head, what the springs hold together, it leaks bad. what should i do.

That is the old style header. I sent mine back to hmf and am in the process of getting a brand new "new" style header. the only thing you can to is put the flanges on the head studs and just loosely tighten the nuts finger tight. then slip the head pipe over them and work it down on the flanges as far as possible. then put the pipe springs on . Then tighten the flanges down with a ratchet. if it still leaks like mine did contact hmf and if it is new enough send it back to them.
