SINCE IAM FROM THE CITY I ONLY RIDE STREET,I TEND TO STICK TO WHEELIES AND FREESTYLE TRICKS.WHEN IAM IN A WHEELIE IAM LOSING A **** LOAD OF GAS.I KNOW IT IS SUPPOSED TO BUT NOT THIS MUCH.

IS THERE ANY WAY TO SLOW IT DOWN?
OR EVEN STOP THE FAST LEAK?

run the overflow line back into your gas tank. You might be able to pinch it off

route the vent tube higher in the frame or make some sort of catch bottle.

Is that the vent tube on the top of the cap?

That would be the drain/overflow hose right? A catch bottle might not be a bad idea!! Saves all the gas you would lose!!

you do not want to seak it off, it is there keep keep teh quad from flooding and if you seal it off it will let more fuel into the cylinder either flooding it or hydro-locking it. like i said Route it higher in the frames or mount some sort of bottle and route it inot the bottle to catch the gas you would lose.

also please turn the caps lock off.typeing in all caps is considered yelling in forums and makes your posts hard to read.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM, IT'S SIMPLE TO FIX... DON'T PUT SOO MUCH GAS IN WHEN DOING WHEELIES TRY TO STAY AT 1/2 OR LESS

they revised one or two things in the carb in 2001. that should fix the problem.
